Amatino, io te l'avevo anche detto, e tu non mi hai voluto ascoltare. Guarda, sto facendo come per la Tav, mi guardo volutamente dall'approfondire l'argomento perché a ogni cosa che leggo, mi escono cose contrarie alla vulgata comune (per la tav quindi mi escono responsi pro- visto che la vulgata è anti-). Ma qui c'è puzza di tar sands da un chilometro, e le tar sands hanno come primo nemico i problemi ambientali, altro che calo del prezzo.

Certo aspetto di vedere quanti barili di petrolio hanno estratto fino ad oggi i cinesi.....

I francesi hanno meno bisogno di energia rispetto ad altri paesi perche hanno un sacco di centrali nucleari e i depositi piu importanti sono nella cosidetta Paris Basin praticamente regione intorno alla capitale dove c'e un elevata densita abitativa.
Per capire perche gli shales in altri paesi non decollano ed e' sostanzialmente un fenomeno americano bisogna capire le 6 ragioni che ostacolano tale sviluppo

One that belongs in the second category is a plan to convert a natural gas import plant, an expensive facility in Cove Point, Md., that’s sitting idle, into one that can handle exports to gas-hungry Japan and India. The Energy Department approved the plan last week, but in Baltimore on Tuesday, a coalition of environmentalists and citizens groups promised to prevent the project from getting the 60 or so additional signoffs it needs. They should find a better use for their time.
According to projections distributed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission,the price of natural gas at Cove Point next month will be $3.22. The price in Japan will be $15.35. The economic opportunity is obvious. True, liquefying and transporting American gas on tankers will push up the price for Asian buyers, but it still will be an attractive option. High transport costs limit how much gas American companies will be able to sell abroad, so, contrary to a major argument from critics of the project, domestic gas prices will stay low. American manufacturers would have an edge against overseas competitors who have to pay shipping costs for access to cheap U.S. natural gas. The bottom line, according to a recent study commissioned by the Energy Department, is that allowing natural gas exports would result in net benefits to the country in every scenario analysts considered.

Ma la pagheranno caro sul profilo ambientale, ma anche economico nel medio lungo periodo.

L'acqua la comprerete voi europei da noi canadesi, visto che da soli ne abbiamo più di qualsiasi altro continente, assieme all'odiato oil sands. Le tecnologie verdi potrete mettervele in quel posto, visto che economicamente state morendo.

Perché secondo te l'offerta degli shale gas resterà cosi com'è, già adesso è in calo con i costi di produzione in crescita, insomma un miraggio altro che miracolo.
