Unica novità, sbandierata molto da alcuni quotidiani come un passo verso la trasparenza, è stata l'immediata pubblicazione delle discussioni in programma nella conferenza.
Per il resto i manifestanti, i giornalisti indipendenti, e qualche parlamentare (non invitato ovviamente) sono stati tenuti a debita distanza con un massiccio dispiego delle forze dell'ordine e con un recinzione d'acciaio appositamente costruita.
