I happened to have been serving with an International Organization for more than twenty years.
Obviously I have a smart English handwriting, and a very good
speaking proficiency as well.
Was told that my English is a bit too formal, and this is understandable having been a working language to me.
However, I may assure you that my knowledge of four letters words and low life language in general is, in case of need, surprising.

Your English sounds to me a bit baroque ( ah, Italia!)

Regardless your position acquired in an IO ( you lucky boy, let me guess: FAO? ILO? National Expert...We'll have a word on that someday) you speak the same "italiese" many italians speakers pretend to be proper english.
Native speakers, while intimately bursting into laughter, usually nod and smile at you , my charming Italian poet ( it's part of stiff-upper lip culture, you know)

smart english handwriting= sveglio inglese calligrafia
my written English is brilliant
speaking proficiency= fluency
in case of need= brilliant translation of " alla bisogna"

As regards four letter words I have only a limited knowledge, partially due to the wholesome
" dictionary of english oaths, slurs and f-letter words"
