ALITALIA NEEDS ALLIANCES TO SURVIVE

The Chief Executive of Alitalia said the loss-making airline would not survive unless it forged alliances with competitors, became more efficient and reined in its costs. Addressing shareholders two days after the company reported further deep losses, CEO Francesco Mengozzi said the group could grow and survive, but only if three conditions were met.
"We need to increase our efficiency, make our cost structure much more flexible and integrate and consolidate ourselves with other airlines until we have achieved full alliances," he said. "That strategic goal for Alitalia will be achieved, among other things, by forging alliances on the domestic market as well," the chief executive of Alitalia added.
La situazione non mi sembra delle migliori se Mengozzi arriva a dichiarare quanto sopra.
Speriamo bene !
