Kansai International Airport marked its 10th anniversary Saturday, but it faces severe business conditions with the number of international flight passengers falling to a record-low level and its liabilities exceeding 1 trillion yen.
At a ceremony to celebrate the anniversary, Kansai International Airport Co President Atsushi Murayama said, "Our slogan is to make the airport convenient and customer-oriented."
