FedEx plane makes emergency landing at Kansai airport

A Federal Express cargo plane bound for Anchorage from Shenzhen in China made an emergency landing at Kansai International Airport near Osaka late Friday night due to engine trouble, airport officials said.

Federal Express Flight 24 reported the trouble to the airport office of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry at around 10:45 p.m., and landed about 25 minutes later, the officials said.
