JAL orders 3 Boeing 747SFs
Japan Airlines, the world's largest 747 operator, ordered 3 Boeing 747-400 Special Freighters with up to four options. Conversion of the first 747-400 passenger airplane into freighter configuration will begin during December 2005. It will be delivered back to the airline in May 2006
Air India could add the B777
Air India could be operating at least 3 Boeing 777-200ERs by January of next year. The airline has put out an advertising on its website asking for training of its pilots on the 777
Vietnam Airlines wants the 7E7
Vietnam Airlines said on Wednesday it had signed a letter of intention to buy 4 Boeing 7E7s. Delivery would be from 2008. In the meantime the airline signed a deal for an earlier announced order for 10 Airbus A321s.
Vietnam leases another 2 B777s
Vietnam Airlines has signed to lease an additional 2 Boeing 777-200ERs for 8 years from ILFC which will take the airline's fleet of 777s to 8 aircraft. Delivery of the 2 aircraft will occur in May and October of next year.

Certo che il 7e7 con 4 ordini qua e 4 là non promette bene. Mi auguro che quando il progetto sarà più tangibile dimostri buone caratteristiche e riceva un po' ossigeno.
I 747 ormai li convertono tutti, niente più aerei nuovi. Siamo alla fine anche di questa lunga storia!
