CANCELLATION OF FLIGHTS TO AND FROM
ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT – 28th- 30TH OCTOBER 2004

Due to the signing of the EU Constitutional Treaty in Rome on 29th October 2004, the Italian Government has decided to close all airspace in and around Rome from 1400 hrs (local time in Italy) on the 28th October 2004 until 1200 hrs (local time in Italy) on the 30th October 2004.

This means that Ciampino Airport will be closed during that time and Ryanair has been forced to cancel all flights operating to and from Ciampino Airport. See below for details of cancelled flights. Passengers booked to travel through Rome Ciampino Airport during those times will be rebooked onto new flights through Rome Fiumicino Airport which is situated 20 miles west of Rome or through Pescara Airport which is situated 130 miles east of Rome. The flight numbers and times of these new scheduled flights are listed below. Passengers on all affected flights will be sent an e-mail to the address provided to us when the original booking was made or alternatively they can review their booking online via the following link: https://www.bookryanair.com/skylight...e=EN&mode=NEV?

Passengers who did not provide an e-mail address during booking should contact their nearest Ryanair call centre. Passengers whose new flight is now scheduled to fly to or from Pescara Airport will be rebooked free of charge onto a new scheduled flight or alternatively they may apply for a full refund. Passengers on new flights to or from Fiumicino Airport will be transferred free of charge onto the relevant flight to or from that airport. Credo che si firmerà a Roma la Carta della Costituzione Europea ; quindi essendo presenti i presidenti e ministri vari di tutta Europa per maggior sicurezza si chiuderà parzialmente lo spazio aereo romano.
