i Terrons e la Terra di Mezzo

Mi trovo in Alabama, e vedo che su Sci-Fi Channel
stanno ridando Beastmaster, la mitica serie di telefilm
australiani di 3 o 4 anni fa. E' una roba tipo Xena.
Li hanno mai dati in tv in Padania?

Trama: l'eroe Dar vive nella magica e ancora
incontaminata terra delle Mydlands (="terra di mezzo").
Si trova a combattere contro la violenta e selvaggia
tribu' dei Terrons, originari della regione confinante
("the Territories", a detta di tutti, il posto
piu' orrendo e devastato di tutto il pianeta)
ma che hanno l'hobby di invadere le terre altrui,
saccheggiando, violentando, portando via le donne
e spesso anche fermandosi li'. In particolare,
Dar deve andare a salvare e liberare la sua ragazza
che e' stata portata via dai Terrons.
Particolarmente divertente l'episodio
in cui il feroce Zad, King of the Terrons vuole
impossessarsi degli ultimi unicorni rimasti nelle
Mydlands per prendersi i loro corni,
che sono ritenuti un portafortuna dai Terrons.
Il re dei Terrons infatti va sempre in giro
con cornetti portafortuna appesi al collo.

Non me lo sto inventando, giuro.
Se li ridanno in tv da voi, non perdeteveli.

With the help of a crafty sorceress, Zad manages to overtake his thrown again and Voden is left wandering the woods alone.
In the Third Season, KIng Zad has made a pact with the lord of darkness, Balcifer, to rid the land of all that is good, and that includes the BeastMaster."
