Start up-airline Oasis Hong Kong Airlines plans to launch the first low-cost non-stop scheduled service between the UK and Hong Kong in late summer. Oasis' international network will also include Milan, Berlin, Cologne/Bonn and Oakland, San Francisco. The London Gatwick-Hong Kong service will operate up to five times a week by 747-400s. Oasis Hong Kong Airlines is 60% owned by American-Chinese businessman Raymond Lee and his wife Priscilla. Stephen Miller, the airline's chief executive, also founded regional carrier Dragonair.
