Aegean Airlines Signs Deal With TAP

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Greece's largest private air carrier, Aegean Airlines, announced a code-sharing agreement with TAP Air Portugal on Monday.

The deal includes TAP or Aegean flights operating between Athens and Lisbon through Rome, and between Thessaloniki and Lisbon through Munich and Frankfurt.

Aegean holds a 50 percent share of the Greek domestic market with 15 destinations. It also operates international flights to eight destinations in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany and Italy.

Aegean already has a code-sharing agreement with Deutsche Lufthansa AG.




Era quasi inevitabile che si arrivasse ad un accordo del genere.
La cosa interessante è che attualmente è in vigore da anni un accordo di c/s reciproco, al di fuori del discorso delle alleanze, tra TAP o Olympic per i pax che volano tra Atene e Lisbona via Roma. L'accordo permette di volare con biglietto TP o con biglietto OA da ATH fino a LIS o vv. passando per FCO appunto.

Immagino che questo nuovo accordo con A3 voglia anche dire allo stesso tempo la cessazione di quello con OA.
