Finnair to launch direct Ljubljana flights
5.7.2006
Finnish flag carrier Finnair said in a statement Wednesday it would launch a direct service between its Helsinki-Vantaa hub and Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, in April 2007.
Finnair is to fly to Ljubljana and back four times a week with its new 76-seat Embraer 170 aircraft.
"We have added frequencies to many of our European destinations and only this year we have already launched five new scheduled services in Europe, with more growth on the way," said in the statement Mika Perho, a senior vice president at Finnair.
"The timetables of the Ljubljana flights support Finnair's Asian strategy and offer excellent return connections via Helsinki to Asia."
