Soprattutto il NT, e Gesù non risorge più ma "ritorna" e non ci sono più i passaggi antisemiti o contro i gay.




Controversial “politically correct” version of the Bible published in Germany

Berlin, Nov. 09, 2006 (CNA) - A group of 52 biblical “specialists” have released a new version of the Bible in which inclusive language and “political correctness” have replaced some “divisive” teachings of Christianity in order to present a “more just language” for groups such as feminists and homosexuals.

According to the AFP news agency, the new version of the Sacred Scriptures was presented at a book fair in Frankfurt. Entitled, “The Bible in a More Just Language,” the translation has Jesus no longer referring to God as “Father,” but as “our Mother and Father who are in heaven.”

Likewise, Jesus is no longer referred to as the “Son” but rather as the “child” of God. The title “Lord” is replaced with “God” or “the Eternal One.” The devil, however, is still referred to with masculine pronouns.

“One of the great ideas of the Bible is justice. We have made a translation that does justice to women, Jews, and those who are disregarded,” said Pastor Hanne Koehler, who led the team of translators.

Last December, Matin Dreyer, pastor and founder of the sect “Jesus Freaks,” published the “Volksbibel” (The People’s Bible), in a supposed attempt to make the message of Christianity more “accessible.” Jesus “returns” instead of resurrects, and multiplies “hamburgers” instead of the fish and loaves. In the parable of the prodigal son, the younger son squanders his inheritance at dance clubs and ends up “cleaning bathrooms at McDonald’s.”

Ho un quesito teologico per te che sei esperto: se io mi facessi una statua di Foxman o di Straus o insomma di un qualunque personaggio famoso e importante di quell'area odierno o del recente passato: anche Borat , chessò Lieberman, fai tu.

una statua a grandezza naturale , tutta di legno, la intaglierei io ovviamente.

Poi gli facessi delle offerte di piattini di riso e liquore, come ad un loa
sacrificassi ogni giorno un piccione ( non potrei permettermi un capretto al giorno, capirai) ai suoi piedi
gli parlassi ( alla statua di questo personaggio famoso e potente odierno o del recente passato ) omaggiandone il valore

A volte penso che potrebbero avere ragione ebrei e mussulmani nel non volere traduzioni dei loro testi. La traduzione comporta sempre una "perdita" dell'originale, e dal momento che si devono rendere espressioni, concetti di un autore di migliaia di anni fa, in una certa terra e cultura che scrive in una lingua profondamente diversa... la traduzione comporta sempre una piccola interpretazione, la quale non sempre può essere corretta.

E' stato proposto da alcuni (in parte realizzato dalla Bibbia in lingua corrente) di utilizzare un linguaggio che rispecchi maggiormente il senso delle parole, facendoci meglio comprendere che cosa intendessero gli autori.
Ad esempio Gesù parla di Geenna, intendendo l'Inferno. Gesù non ha mai citato l'inferno, ma la Geenna (che è una sorta di immondezzaio vicino Gerusalemme che brucia rifiuti giorno e notte). Rendere Geenna con Inferno potrebbe essere "pericoloso", ma in ogni caso era questo il senso con cui Lui stesso lo usava.



Nel caso riportato, invece si può parlare proprio di cambiamento! Per di più non per una maggiore fedeltà al senso originario, ma per un "politically correct". Il cristianesimo non può e non deve essere un "politically correct". Si può discutere sulle modalità di evangelizzazione, ma non si può edulcorare la Verità, perchè solo "la Verità vi farà liberi".
Non si può fare del cristianesimo un'altra religione. Il cristianesimo è così, se non si accetta si può scegliere una delle migliaia di religioni presenti sulla terra, oppure farsene come suggerisce Shambler, una a propria immagine e somiglianza.
