I can't say you that when people see here an american immediately begins to laugh ( they are so ridicolous ... and now, they have become arrogant, too! ).

Two modest suggestions:

- keep in mind that the web is used by a certain part of the population only, particularly the young and those with at least an average education and income (particularly in "technologically delayed" countries like Italy); what your survey would tell is their perception, but this isn't necessarily representative of a country as a whole

- know that this forum is not even representative of the web population, there is a high concentration of extremists (any kind) around here

If you could conduct a similar survey for example by phone calls or questionnaires at the shopping mall, you would very unlikely get such high percentages.

PS: or maybe not... I finally took the survey and the options were quite blunt
