Fino ad ora hanno aderito circa 30 tra partiti comunisti e movimenti di liberazione.



Inoltre, l'accademia delle scienze di Belarus terrà una conferenza.
Il 5 dovrebbe tenersi una manifestazione che aprirebbe le celebrazioni ufficiali, mentre in Russia le celebrazioni saranno il 6 e il 7 tra Pietroburgo e Mosca.

“October Revolution of 1917 and the World Civilization”

devoted to the 90th anniversary of the October Revolution.

The Conference will take place in Minsk on November 2, 2007

ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED

І. Historical preconditions and the character of the October Revolution.
ІІ. The October Revolution and formation of new societies in Russia (Soviet Union) and in other countries: historical experience and modern appraisals.
ІІІ. The October Revolution and Belarus.
IV. The October Revolution and the world civilization developments.

Place: Minsk, Nezavisimost’ av., 66, National Academy of Science of Belarus (the great conference hall)
Date:November 2, 2007 ( The plenary meeting begins at 11.00)
The Conference organizers do not cover traveling expenses.

Application Requirements

The deadline for the application is October 20, 2007. The application should include: surname, name, father’s name, degree, position, place of work, home and office addresses. Selected papers (one printed version and an electronic version on floppy disk) will be accepted at the conference during the registration procedure, on November 2 , 2007.

Applications should be sent to: 220072, Minsk, Akademicheskaya str. , 1, Institute of History of National Academy of Science of Belarus , room 222 (phone numbers: 284-18-69, 284-18-39) or by e-mail: marat@history.minsk.by. The selection procedure will be carried out by the Conference editorial committee. Languages of the Conference: Russian, Belarusian, and English.

Papers should not exceed 8 (eight ) А4 format (210 Х 297 мм) pages ; Times New Roman type, 14 pt, line-to-line spacing – 1,5. Margins: top and bottom – 20mm, left – 30mm, right – 10mm. The first line (on the right) includes author’s surname and initials; in brackets - name of the city and institution. The next line is the text title typed in capital letters at the center of the line (1 space between the first and the second lines). Then follows the body text. References are to be given within the body text in square brackets. The first figure is the number of the source in the list of cited sources, the second – is the number of the page. For example: [1; 15-16]. The text is followed by the list of cited sources

ci dovrebbero essere tutti i partiti dell'Europa orientale, Grecia, Cina , Cuba, Vietnam.
Sembra certa la presenza del Tudeh (molti suoi dirigenti hanno trovato riparo a Minsk).
Se qualcuno intende andarci mi contatti in privato.

Minsk international forum of Communists to be devoted to 90th anniversary of October Revolution Delegates of the Communist Parties of Russia and Greece discussed with their Belarusian colleagues issues relating to the preparation for the international forum of the Communist and Workers Parties, which will take place in Minsk on November 3-5, 2007, BelTA has been told in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.

In the course of the visit to Minsk the Russian and Greek Communists discussed the topic of the forthcoming forum - “90th anniversary of the October Socialist Communist Revolution. Urgency and vitality of its ideas. Communists fighting against imperialism for socialism”. The sides also considered initiatives put forward by the three parties.

The guests visited the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus to familiarize themselves with special aspects of the law-making activity in Belarus. The delegation also visited the memorial complex “Khatyn”.

On the last day of the visit the Communists met with top officials of Belarus’ Culture Ministry. The Greek Communists intend to promote culture cooperation by popularizing achievements of Belarus through the TV channel of the Communist Party of Greece.
