Il 5 dovrebbe tenersi una manifestazione che aprirebbe le celebrazioni ufficiali, mentre in Russia le celebrazioni saranno il 6 e il 7 tra Pietroburgo e Mosca.

to participation in International Conference
“October Revolution of 1917 and the World Civilization”
devoted to the 90th anniversary of the October Revolution.
The Conference will take place in Minsk on November 2, 2007
ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED
І. Historical preconditions and the character of the October Revolution.
ІІ. The October Revolution and formation of new societies in Russia (Soviet Union) and in other countries: historical experience and modern appraisals.
ІІІ. The October Revolution and Belarus.
IV. The October Revolution and the world civilization developments.
Place: Minsk, Nezavisimost’ av., 66, National Academy of Science of Belarus (the great conference hall)
Date:November 2, 2007 ( The plenary meeting begins at 11.00)
The Conference organizers do not cover traveling expenses.
The deadline for the application is October 20, 2007. The application should include: surname, name, father’s name, degree, position, place of work, home and office addresses. Selected papers (one printed version and an electronic version on floppy disk) will be accepted at the conference during the registration procedure, on November 2 , 2007.

The selection procedure will be carried out by the Conference editorial committee. Languages of the Conference: Russian, Belarusian, and English.
Papers should not exceed 8 (eight ) А4 format (210 Х 297 мм) pages ; Times New Roman type, 14 pt, line-to-line spacing – 1,5. Margins: top and bottom – 20mm, left – 30mm, right – 10mm. The first line (on the right) includes author’s surname and initials; in brackets - name of the city and institution. The next line is the text title typed in capital letters at the center of the line (1 space between the first and the second lines). Then follows the body text. References are to be given within the body text in square brackets. The first figure is the number of the source in the list of cited sources, the second – is the number of the page. For example: [1; 15-16]. The text is followed by the list of cited sources
