I'd just like to ask, due to lack of any information in the British media, about PD in Europe. Have PD announced which European group the party will join?

I'm not so sure about that, we should wait for first national congress of PD to see what they will join.

I didn't hear any news even though the election for European Parliament is really near. I think that they will split the party between two groups depending on candidate's former party, as they did before. I heard that they are pressing ESP to change its name adding the "democratic" adjective in order to make it easier for catholics to join, but that was some months ago.

The ESP in fact in its last convention changed the statute defining the party as 'socialist, progressive and democratic', but it seems that the Catholics and the Liberals still do not want to join.
