MK Bhadrakumar - 22 agosto 2014 Quando ho scritto sul blog in precedenza, qui, che Russia e Unione europea si scambiavano occhiate, francamente non immaginavo che il flirt sarebbe cominciato così presto. Ma l’atteso incontro a Minsk tra i presidenti di Russia e Ucraina Vladimir Putin e Petro Poroshenko, e la responsabile della politica estera Catherine Ashton dell’UE, significa che s’avvia la corsa per la ricerca della pace in Ucraina. Chiaramente lo sfondo di tutto ciò sarebbero le consultazioni dirette tra Putin e la cancelliera tedesca Angela Merkel.
Ricapitolando, l’articolo esclusivo del quotidiano inglese Independent del 31 luglio, sulla comprensione russo-tedesca in Ucraina e l’accordo su un “piano segreto”, bloccato dal trambusto sul (misterioso) abbattimento del velivolo malese sull’Ucraina orientale, sembra aver avuto qualche base solida.
