Launeddas is a wind musical instrument consisting of three pipes directly blown with the technique of circular breathing. Launeddas can be considered as the precursor of all the bagpipes.The precious expertise and skills passed down through generations including the know-how in the cultivation, seasoning and selection of the proper types of cane (Arundo Donax), along with the manufacture of reeds, urge and deserve to be protected and valued. He works in cultural enviroment, particularly in popular and ethnic music. He did several researches and scholarships on Indian, sardinian and Danish ethnomusic.He founded and coordinate a Cultural Association named Iscandula.
