Parlano molto nei vari social di questa eclissi che avverrà l'8 aprile, sento molte teorie catastrofiche e apocalittiche, premesso che io credo non succeda nulla di più di quello che sta già accadendo, qualcuno ne sa di più?

COLUMBIA — Earth's moon will cast a shadow over Columbia April 8, though unlike in 2017 it will only be a partial eclipse.
While a band of the United States stretching from Texas to Maine will experience totality — the moon completely blocking off the sun — Columbians will only get about 76 percent coverage, according to NASA.
The eclipse will reach its maximum for Columbia around 3:10 p.m., though it will start around 12 p.m. and end around 4:25 p.m.
Experts at NASA and the National Weather Service warn it's dangerous to look at the sun without eye protection, even when it's partially blocked by the moon.
"At no point during any portion of this eclipse in South Carolina should you be starting at the solar eclipse without some sort of solar protection over your eyes," Chris Liscinsky, a meteorologist at the NWS office in Columbia, said.
Regular sunglasses aren't dark enough to be safe, according to NASA, so viewers need to use solar viewers to protect their eyes. The American Astronomical Society's website has a list of safe solar viewer suppliers.
Even when wearing eclipse glasses, don't look at the sun through a telescope, binoculars or camera unless they have a solar filter equipped, as NASA warns that "the concentrated solar rays will burn through the filter and cause serious eye injury."
If viewers don't have safe eclipse glasses, they can use a pinhole camera to see the eclipse's effects on another surface. Even the shadow of a tree's leaves can have the same effect, Liscinsky said, so viewers might be able to see the crescent shape of the eclipsed sun on the ground as the light passes through the space between the leaves.
The partial eclipse's effects won't be as dramatic as totality was in 2017, but the capital city will still get a little darker and see a slight temperature drop, Liscinsky said.
Some cloud coverage might also disappear during the eclipse, he said, as dropping temperatures will make the atmosphere lose some of its instability, the meteorological term describing how warm air rises into cooler elevations and forms clouds.
While a few South Carolina school districts have decided to close April 8, none of the Columbia area's districts have announced any changes to their regular schedules.
After April 8, the next partial eclipse in Columbia will be Jan. 26, 2028, but get ready to wait if you want to see another total eclipse from your backyard — Columbia's next total eclipse won't be until 2078.
