Buon divertimento.

Guido Brasletti ('Pepe') is named after the clip-ons (in Fance 'les Bracelets') mounted on his italian Ducati. In 1977 introduced Ducati the 900 SS the big brother of the clasic 'Duke 750' also named Yellow Sport after the yellow color. The 900 SuperSport was a racing bike for street use. It had a good stability good suspension and great Brembo brakes. The powerfull 90 degrees V-twin engine had desmodromic operated valves driven by two 'kings' shafts. Once the 900 SS was driven by famous men like Phil Read, Paul Smart and Mike 'the bike' Hailwood ! Until today Guido still rides a Ducati 900 SS. The chassis and the engine went allong with their time and makes the Duke a terrifying opponent. The many victories in the Superbike championship in the past years are a testimony. Brasletti has chosen the top-half as a simpathie to his old 900 SS on which he celebrated so many victories! Beneath; Guido gives a demonstration of the Brembos braking performance.

Jean Manchzeck (De Koordpikker) is named after the short turn of the throttle of his Norton 850 Commando. But "J'en mange sec" also means "I eat them raw!". De Norton Commando MK1 is a legendary machine from a legendary brand. Norton has celebrated many racing victories. Unfortunately Norton suffered from heavy competitors. Losses caused the disapearing of Norton. In the urly 90's Norton made for the last time a magnificant motorbike; the F1 whith a rotary engine. A beauty but not good enough! De Norton of Jean made place for a modern Triumph 900 Daytona. This bike with a 3 cylinder engine is the 1200 Daytona's little brother, but has more ride-abillity then the heavy 1200. De 900 Daytona has a good appearance with his bright yellow color. Yellow is back! (Laverda 650 Sport, Laverda 668, Ducati 748, Yamaha TDM, Thundercat and the Suzuki RF)

Jean-Raoul Ducable (De Brokkenpiloot) is named after the long stroke of the throttle from his famous Kawasaki H2. In France "j'en roule du cable" wich means "Turning the throttle a lot" The famous 3-cylinder two-stroke engine (Bitactus snellius according the dutch sport bikes magazine KicXstart) on wich Jean drove in the early '70's was a green '74 type. This motorbike had a topspeed of 200 km/h and did a standing quarter in 12 seconds what was faster then all of his rivals. After crashing a handfull of 500 RDLC and 500 Gamma's Jean choose for the Suzuki 750 GSX-R W. The GSX-R is quite a long time arround. After many modificaties on chasis, bodywork en fingerpaint colorschemes Suzuki finaly modified the old oilcooled engine en gave it an modern watercooled engine. Unfortunately is this type still using an alloy twinspar frame concept and not a modern deltabox. The Suzuki is a very grunty motorbike with 120 BPH. So watch out! The engine runs, like all Suzuki's, mean and raw. The new '95 version GSX-R is a pure racing machine. The famous and almost perfect Honda Fireblade will find a heavy opponent in this '95 GSX-R.

Edouard Bracame ('Ed Vollegaas'} is named after the Double Over Head Cams (in France 'abre a came') of his Honda 750 Four. In 1969 Honda introduced the 750 Four. A Big impressive motorbikepowered by a 4-cylinder line engine quite rare in that time. Revolutionair was the standaard mounted diskbrake in the frontweel. But inspite the diskbrake the braking capability was terrible. You can see this often in the Joe Bar Team stories ! Ed had modified his sevenfifty, 4-into-1 exhaustpipe and a sports buddy sit which was very popular in the 70's. Until this day Ed is still riding a Honda motorbike, not the Sevenfifty but the CB 1000 'Big One'. The big CB 1000 is a modern reincarnation of Ed's old 750 Four. The big watercooled engine tells you're dealing with a modern motorbike. A terrific bike whith, in contrast of the old 750 Four, awsome brakes. A quote from Ed " I hate twins and engines without a head! On the right you'll see Ed's typical startposition at 'The Start' so he can see the trafficelight along the Top-halve of Guido's Ducati, the place is in front of Joe's Bar.
