se ti risponde al ping senza errori vuol dire che non hai problemi di dns con PIR, altrimenti prova a mettere l'IP pubblico dei dns di Google (8.8.8.8 e 8.8.4.4) seguendo queste istruzioni:

3. Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example:

che dns usi? anche a me da questi problemi ultimamente...

questo programmino gratis ti scegli i dns più veloci in automatico e li applica sulla config della tua scheda di rete.

Io avevo attiva l'opzione "ottieni DNS automaticamente".
Comunque, ho provato a inserire gli indirizzi DNS che mi ha indicato trash, ma il problema sussiste.
Dal basso della mia ignoranza in materia, penso che sia un problema di IP perché dal fisso non riesco a connettermi, mentre dal portatile se mi collego con una rete wireless diversa dalla mia va tranquillamente. Però, ripeto, su queste cose sono abbastanza ignorante, perciò non so se ho effettivamente ragione.

Prova a mettere lo stesso DNS che hai sulla rete che ti permette di accedere a PIR.

raga a me 'da casa' risolve con l'ip giusto ma non riesco cmq a raggiungere pir.
