Primo AZ B772 trip report su A.net

Lars e' uno dei migliori membri di airliners.net e il suo sito sul B777 e' davvero accurato ed interessante.
A proposito di B777, sabato pomeriggio sono stato a FCO, in testata pista a guardare gli atterraggi e ho visto, tra gli altri, I-DISE arrivare verso le 160.
Poi, quando stavo ormai tornando a casa e guidavo (anzi io ero il passeggero sulla moto) sulla strada che costeggia l'aeroporto, ho visto che nella zona tecnica di Alitalia c'erano due code che sembravano proprio di B777. Puo' essere che ci fossero contemporaneamente 3 B777 a FCO?
Ok I-DISE che stava al terminal C ma gli altri due potrebbero essere stati i nuovi arrivati dal Regno Unito dopo l'installazione delle crew rest areas e non ancora entrati in servizio?

Cmq giovedi' parto per Barcellona e dall'aeroporto daro' un'occhiata per vedere se ci sono ancora.

Hi! Many thanks for the nice comments and here's some answers to your questions: Service was good and the flight attendents were nice. The interior is all grey and very nice. Seats are very comfortable and seat pitch is 31-32" inches from what I have heard. I'm 5'11" (180cm) so no problem for me. Yes, they did have another drink service with dinner. Service overall was okay; I was a bit surprised that they don't come around to offer something to drink during the flight like on other airlines but you can go and get yourself in the galley. That means waking up the people sitting next to you if you are in a window seat......

Also the seats had legrests even in economy. The entertainement systems is AVOD (AudioVideoOnDemand) which means you can start the movie or music when you want. Same system as on RG. Funny thing is when announcements are made PA IN PROGRESS appears on your videoscreen and if you read it quickly, you wonder what else is going on.... (Pain progress).

AZ is the 27th 777 airline that I have flown 777s with. Only missing Khalifa but not sure if they even had one revenue flight with the 777. At least they were never in the schedule which makes it impossible to plan ahead for a flight. Overall a nice experience although I would rate AF and NG higher for flights that I have taken over a similiar distance. RG was really nice but I had three seats for myself which makes a BIG difference. So would rate AZ in the top 5, I think.
