The following headline news are from an internet website, called Islam Memo (http://www.islammemo.cc/), that reports from Iraqi cities. Some US TV stations mentioned that there were 16 US soldiers who were killed in various parts of Iraq on Tuesday. There are no reports yet about US and Iraqi casualties in Falluja. Al-Jazeerah does not have the resources to verify the following news from US media units.

US Forces enter 4 Falluja neighborhoods, Jolan, Mu'alimin, Jighifi, and Shurta, using the same tactics used in occupying Samarra. Air raids were followed by spreading snipers on house roofs and over mosques, then tanks advanced, which left little chance for the resistance to maneuver.

Iraqi Resistance Stop US Advance in Northern Falluja and no advance in the south because of resistance there. More fighting has occurred at Al-Mu'alimin neighborhood.

US forces penetrated northern Falluja by entering between Mu'alimin and Jighifi neighborhoods. US forces used weapons that were used first in the US attack on the Baghdad airport at the beginning of the war in 2003.

8 US soldiers and 2 Iraqi resistance fighters killed and personnel carrier and two Hummer vehicles destroyed in Suwaira, south of Baghdad.

200,000 US bombs dropped on Falluja so far. This included carpet and cluster bombs. This resulted in a big number of injuries but there are no ambulances to carry them. There are no doctors and the hospitals were either bombed or in the hands in the US forces. Dr. Muhammed Isma'il of Al-Falluja General Hospital has appealed to Iraqi doctors from all over the country to go to Falluja to treat the wounded.

Dr. Isma'il mentioned that the US forces arrested doctors and medics of the hospitals, which led to one of the nurses to do a surgery to a child to get shrapnels out of his body.

Four US soldiers killed and a hummer vehicle and a truck were destroyed at Al-Taji, north of Baghdad. About 10:00 O'clock local time, a US convoy was attacked near the Tigress River, in the Hore El-Basha area. A roadside bomb exploded then RPG rockets were launched, which resulted in the killing of four US soldiers and the truck driver who was a Jordanian or a Syrian.

Three US soldiers were killed when their convoy was attacked by RPG7 rockets on Tuesday morning at Al-Zahraniya area, south of Baghdad. Their Hummer vehicle was destroyed in the attack.

A US surveillance plane was downed at Al-Rahmaniya area of Karkh in Baghdad about 80 Monday morning. Iraqis downed it using BCK machine guns.

Four US marines Killed at Al-Ghazaliya, south of Baghdad at about 80 local morning time. A roadside bomb destroyed a US hummer military vehicle killing the four marines and injuring two others.

Five US soldiers were killed in Haifa Street in Baghdad on Tuesday at about 7:00 local time. A Bradley tank was destroyed and its crew of four were killed. A fifth US soldier was killed while exchanging fire with the Iraqi attackers, who used RPG7s and BKCs.

Falluja, 13 americani uccisi
Continua violenza, governo ordina coprifuoco in 2 citta'
(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 11 NOV - I militari americani uccisi dall'inizio dell'offensiva di Falluja sarebbero 13, rende noto il Pentagono. Non si fermano le violenze in Iraq e il governo tenta la carta del coprifuoco. A Hilla,dove nelle ultime 24 ore si sono verificati ben tre attacchi con autobombe e kamikaze nessuno potra' uscire tra le 18 e le 04. A Hawijah il coprifuoco e' stato disposto in seguito ad una serie di scontri tra ribelli, truppe Usa e la guardia nazionale irachena.

Un momento dell'avanzata alleata sulla roccaforte degli insorti

New York, 11 nov. (Apcom) - Alla fine i 150 marines americani in marcia su Fallujah non credevano ai propri occhi. Di fronte avevano due palazzine a tre piani lungo l'autostrada numero 10, sulle quali era appostato un cecchino nemico. Prima hanno ordinato due raid aerei: sugli edifici già pericolanti sono piovuti proiettili da 200 kg. Quindi hanno fatto fuoco trentacinque volte con i cannoni da 155 millimetri montati sui carrarmati Abram e accompagnato i colpi con circa 30.000 raffiche del loro fucili automatici. Gli edifici erano un cumulo di rovine fumanti ma il cecchino continuava a sparare.

Il New York Times dedica a un momento della battaglia di Fallujah l'apertura della prima pagina.

Il cecchino, ammesso che fosse solo uno, è riuscito a tenere a bada 150 soldati americani per quasi un giorno intero. Un'altra lezione, scrive il quotidiano, sulla natura del nemico che gli americani hanno di fronte nell'inferno delle strade circondate di ruderi di Fallujah. Non sono tutti martiri pronti a sacrificarsi alla prima occasione, tra i guerriglieri ci sono anche killer addestrati che sanno fare il proprio mestiere con freddezza e precisione. E non muoiono mai.

"Viene da pensare che lui se ne stia lassù a mangiare sandwich - ha commentato il tenente Andy Eckert, che ha preso parte all'assedio - e noi diventiamo matti a cercare di tirarlo fuori". Fa ridere, ma c'è poco da ridere. L'autostrada n.10 è costata la vita a due soldati della compagnia B del primo battaglione dell'ottavo reggimento delle truppe d'assalto dei Marine. I cecchini li hanno freddati dall'alto di una moschea mezzo chilometro più indietro, prima che fosse rasa al suolo.

In un'altra occasione, racconta il quotidiano di New York, i cecchini americani hanno sentito qualcosa in un edificio. Un gatto è finalmente uscito allo scoperto cominciando ad aggirarsi nel vicinato. "Posso fare fuoco, signore? un marine avrebbe chiesto al proprio superiore. "Assolutamente no" si è sentito rispondere.

Alle cinque del pomeriggio di mercoledì, quando la compagnia credeva di avere definitivamente assicurato la zona, alcuni soldati hanno attraversato l'autostrada e hanno cominciato a perlustrare i detrici del palazzo a tre piani. Alle cinque e mezza il cecchino ha nuovamente cominciato a sparare.

Fra le truppe irachene 5 morti e 34 feriti

Fallujah (Iraq), 11 nov. (Ap) - Per quanto riguarda il bilancio delle vittime delle truppe regolari irachene, vi sarebbero 5 morti e 34 feriti. Il generale ha confermato che l'operazione sta andando avanti più velocemente del previsto e che le forze statunitensi stanno conducendo perquisizioni casa per casa per accertare la presenza di arsenali della guerriglia. In quasi ogni moschea, ha affermato Natonski, sono state ritrovate grandi quantità di armi, mentre in altre zone sono state scoperte fabbriche clandestine di esplosivi.

I milIziani sunniti, a parte alcune sacche di resistenza isolate nel nord della città, appaiono oramai confinati in una fascia dei quartieri meridionali e starebbero cercando di aprire un varco attraverso l'accerchiamento delle forze americane ed irachene. Il fuoco dei mortai della guerriglia si sarebbe infatti concentrato sui ponti della zona meridionale piuttosto che sulle truppe che attaccano da nord.

Secondo fonti militari statunitensi sarebbero circa 600 i miliziani uccisi nel corso dell'operazione: il generale Richard Myers, capo degli stati maggiori riuniti, ha parlato di "molte centinaia" di milizani uccisi o catturati, pur ammettendo che la conquista della città non significherà la fine della guerriglia; "Non era questo il nostro obbiettivo, né la nostra speranza".

Il Pentagono aveva stimato in un primo momento in un minimo di mille ed un massimo di tremila l'entità dei miliziani presenti nella roccaforte sunnita, ma la resistenza incontrata finora, relativamente scarsa e poco organizzata, fa pensare agli esperti militari che molti dei ribelli possano aver abbandonato la città nei giorni precedenti l'attacco.

Usa assediano Falluja,17 morti per autobomba Baghdad

FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - I marine Usa hanno annunciato di aver preso il controllo di un quartiere ribelle a Falluja dove è in corso una dura offensiva da quasi due giorni, ma dopo poco una forte esplosione è stata avvertita nella città.

Un comandante della compagnia ha detto a Reuters che la roccaforte di Jolan "è praticamente sotto il nostro controllo".

"Stiamo lasciando dietro le forze irachene perché si occupino di incarichi sensbili come il controllo delle moschee".

Jolan è stato teatro di uno dei più pesanti combattimenti dopo che circa 10.000 soldati Usa e marines e 2.000 militari iracheni hanno lanciato un'offensiva contro Falluja lunedì notte.

Poco dopo, una forte esplosione è stata avvertita nella zona nordoccidentale della città, e una massa di fuoco si è levata nel cielo.

Secondo la tv Al Arabiya due elicotteri Usa sono stati abbattuti nelle vicinanze della città musulmana sunnita, mentre i ribelli hanno sferrato attacchi a Baghdad e nella città settentrionale di Mosul.

Il canale satellitare arabo, citando fonti militari Usa, ha detto che due elicotteri americani Cobra sono stati abbattuti nei pressi di Falluja, ma non ha fornito ulteriori dettagli.

AUTOBOMBA A BAGHDAD E A KIRKUK

Nel centro di Baghdad questa mattina un'autobomba ha ucciso almeno 17 persone e ne ha ferite altre 20, mentre nel nord ribelli hanno incendiato stazioni della polizia, hanno rubato armi e hanno invaso le strade di Mosul, città che sembra scivolare lentamente fuori dal controllo, hanno detto gli abitanti.

Esplosioni e spari di fucili da assalto e lanciarazzi hanno echeggiato nella città e colonne di fumo si sono alzate da almeno due stazioni della polizia incendiate.

A Baghdad un giornalista Reuters ha visto quattro corpi dentro auto carbonizzate dopo che è esplosa un'autobomba vicino a una pattuglia della polizia in piazza Nasr alle 11.30 (9.30 ora italiana). L'esplosione ha devastato un edificio vicino e ha fatto alzare fumo nero nell'aria.

"Un'autobomba ha colpito una pattuglia della polizia, ferendo numerosi agenti", ha detto un funzionario di polizia presente sul posto.

Una coda di macchine era in attesa davanti a una stazione di servizio quando la bomba è esplosa. Il distributore non ha preso fuoco.

Nel frattempo altre tre esplosioni sono riecheggiate nella capitale e del fumo è salito dalla Zona verde, dove si trovano la sede del governo ad interim e le ambasciate Usa e britannica.

184 Falluja, 18 soldati Usa morti
L'esercito americano ha annunciato che 18 suoi soldati sono morti, e 69 sono rimasti feriti, nel corso dell'offensiva lanciata contro Falluja. Il dato corregge quello diffuso ieri, che parlava di 11 morti e 9 feriti. Vittime anche fra i soldati iracheni che hanno partecipato all'operazione: 5 morti e 34 feriti.


18:27 Raid Usa in moschea Bagdad
Le truppe americane hanno compiuto un raid in una moschea sunnita di Bagdad, Ibn Taymiya. Arrestate diverse persone, tra le quali l'imam Mehdi al-Sumaidi, che aveva invitato le forze irachene a non combattere al fianco di quelle Usa a Falluja. I soldati hanno fatto irruzione anche nelle abitazioni di due esponenti sunniti che avevano invitato a boicottare le prossime elezioni.



17:28 Raid Usa a Mosul
L'esercito americano ha compiuto un raid aereo, supportato da attacchi di terra, a Mosul, a 370 chilometri da Bagdad, contro sospetti rifugi di ribelli.


17:16 Coprifuoco a Hilla e Hawijah
A Hilla, nella provincia di Babilonia, dove nelle ultime 24 ore si sono verificati ben tre attacchi (16 feriti), non si potrà circolare dalle 18 alle 4. Lo ha comunicato il capo della polizia locale Qais Hamza. A Hawijah, a 200 chilometri da Bagdad, il coprifuoco è stato disposto dalle 18 alle 6 in seguito ad una serie di scontri tra ribelli e truppe Usa e la guardia nazionale irachena, che hanno provocato 8 feriti.


166 Forte esplosione a Falluja
Una forte esplosione è stata udita in una zona a nord-ovest di Falluja, dove alcuni testimoni riferiscono di aver visto una grande palla di fuoco illuminare il cielo.


161 Pentagono, 13 americani uccisi a Falluja
I militari Usa uccisi dall'inizio dell'offensiva a Falluja sarebbero 13. I feriti "decine". La cifra, riferita da fonti di stampa a contatto con i vertici militari, ritocca quella di 11, nota finora. Dalla Germania, testimoni oculari riferiscono di un flusso di feriti "importante" all'ospedale militare americano di Landstuhl.


160 Falluja, ufficiale Usa: Jolan sotto controllo
Le truppe Usa hanno assunto il controllo del quartiere di Jolan, nell'area nord-occidentale di Falluja. Lo riferisce il capitano Robert Bodisch: "Jolan è ora sotto il nostro controllo". Nella zona restano sacche di sporadica resistenza.


16:49 Myers, grande successo per operazione a Falluja
L'offenziva lanciata a Falluja ha avuto "molto, molto successo", nonostante il sospetto che la maggior parte dei nemici abbia lasciato la città prima dell'attacco. Lo ha detto il capo di Stato Maggiore americano, generale Richard Myers, in alcune interviste tv. Myers ha detto che "centinaia e centinaia di ribelli" sono stati uccisi o catturati. Fonti militari hanno fornito la cifra di 600 nemici uccisi.

E' di almeno 3 morti e 17 feriti il bilancio degli scontri delle ultime 24 ore a Ramadi. Il bilancio è della polizia e degli ospedali cittadini. Gli scontri, che hanno coinvolto polizia locale e i militari Usa, sono cominciati dopo i funerali di un iracheno ucciso a Falluja, che si sono trasformati in una manifestazione contro l'occupazione americana. La situazione è rapidamente degenerata.



15:05 Pentagono, a Falluja 600 insorti uccisi
I militari Usa stimano che circa 600 tra insorti sunniti e terroristi della banda di al-Zarqawi siano stati uccisi dall'inizio dell'offensiva a Falluja. La cifra è nettamente superiore a quella fatta fino a ieri, di un centinaio di nemici fuori combattimento, fra morti e feriti.

Due elicotteri americani sono stati costretti a un atterraggio d'emergenza dopo essere stati presi di mira con lanci di razzi a Falluja. Lo ha reso noto un portavoce dell'esercito Usa, precisando che nessun componente dei due equipaggi ha subito danni di sorta.

Le forze armate Usa controlleranno l'intera città di Falluja entro sabato prossimo, malgrado la forte resistenza che stanno incontrando. Lo ha detto oggi un ufficiale dei marines aggiungendo che il 75% della città ribelle è già nelle loro mani.

I marines hanno ripreso il fuoco d'artiglieria a Falluja dopo una breve tregua notturna con sporadici attacchi. Il fuoco è stato concentrato su alcuni obiettivi dei ribelli a nordovest della città, dove i marines hanno conquistato ampie zone ma incontrano ancora la resistenza dei guerriglieri.

Mujahideen Control Majority Of Fallujah; Americans Expelled From Three Districts

Editors Note: With mainstream media content with reporting what the American want them to report, it comes as no surprise to us that there is a great discrepancy between reports on the events on the ground from the Mujahideen and other independent news media and that which is being reported by mainstream media. If you haven’t already given up on mainstream news reports, its probably time you did. Even the most naïve now see that something is amiss in their reporting with little and often contradictory information and a great deal of unsubstantiated misinformation being reported about the battle underway in Fallujah.

While the Americans are telling the world that they now control 70% of Fallujah and that only 10 American soldiers have been killed, details emerging from the battlefield give us a completely different view.

In news just in, the tactical decision taken by the Mujahideen to open up two roads leading to the city centre turned out to be very effective. According to sources close to the Mujahideen, as a result of heavy shelling on civilian neighborhoods all around the perimeters of the city, a decision was made to move the battle into the center of town by opening two main roads that lead into Fallujah central.

The first road opened was “Nisan 7", which is 17 -20 meters wide and stretches from the rail network north of Fallujah, passes by the Al-Mualimeen zone, on to Nisan 7 to Al-Forqan Mosque and ends in the Al-Shuhada neighborhood. The second road opened was “Tharthar Street”, which is 15 -18 meters wide extends from railway station, from where the Americans are handling forward control, passes through the Al-Ghuaifi neighborhood and ends at Officers neighborhood. After opening the two roads, Mujahideen made a tactical withdrawal from the city’s perimeters to permit the Americans to enter the two roads. The plan was successful; the Americans are now on the two roads just where the Mujahideen wanted them to be.

The Mujahideen had a very successful day Wednesday and their morale is running high. Not only were they able to weather the relentless, round the clock shelling dished out by the Americans using all kinds of weapons, but they managed to push occupation forces back. The Mujahideen are currently controlling 70% of the city, not the Americans, as mainstream news is reporting.

As of this filing, fierce fighting is now underway in the Al-Shuhada neighborhood, with the Mujahideen having retaken Al-Ghuaifi, Al-Mualimeen, and Al-Askari neighborhoods. American snipers are now absent except on some roof tops on the two main roads.

According to Mujahideen sources and first reported by Quds Press, the Al-Golan, Al-Mualimeen, and Officers neighborhoods have now been completely cleared of occupations forces and Iraqi flags have been erected on buildings in these areas.

According to Islam memo correspondent in the city, street battles are prone to sudden shifts in positions and advantages by there very nature. That was the case last evening when the American occupiers temporarily took control of certain areas but their formations quickly fell apart and Mujahideen regained control. We remind our readers that the situation on the ground is still unstable and that the battle for Fallujah is not over yet.

Further Islam memo’s correspondent said there is no truth to news circulated in western media about high Mujahideen casualties, denouncing claims by some news media that large numbers of Resistance fighters had been killed and wounded by the aggressor troops’ fire were incorrect. There had been claims that 90 Resistance fighters had fallen, he said, but such figures were totally baseless, the true numbers being far fewer.

Mujahideen Capture Eight More Americans

In a dispatch posted at 8:25pm local time (7:25pm Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that during the night of Tuesday-Wednesday, Resistance forces had taken eight American troops prisoner after attacking them as they drove two Humvees into al-Fallujah. Resistance fighters, having commandeered the Humvees from the captured Americans then took joy rides through the streets of the city, raising the morale of the people and their Resistance fighters.

The eight new prisoners followed 36 Americans, including some women soldiers, who had been captured in the south of the city on Monday.

Casualties Numbers for Tuesday

Preliminary counts of Wednesday’s casualties are 43 Americans killed and 19 Mujahideen martyred however the number of Mujahideen martyred is expected to rise as treatment for the wounded is limited under current conditions. In addition, inside the city of Fallujah itself, seven tanks were destroyed and an Apache aircraft was shot down.

Outside the city, when Mujahideen attacked the rear supply lines of the American occupiers, 25 different mechanized vehicles were destroyed. No casualty figures on this attack have yet been received. (JUS)
