Proprio quando temevo di dover passare i miei primi giorni a Francoforte all'ostello, stamane mi è venuta in soccorso una mail intitolata Room available!

Dear Mr Xxxx,

following your contact with Stefanie Xxxx we would like to inform you that there is a room available in the flat of the landlord who has been contacted by Mr Bianco.

Mr Xxxxx - the landlord - has a flat with two rooms available from the evening of July 1st.

As we have one the French tester - Julien Xxxxx - who is already coming tomorrow and starting on Wednesday at Nintendo and does not speak German, we have put him into one of these rooms. So the other one is still available. I know the flat which is quite spacy with a big fully equipped kitchen (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) and a bathroom. It is in walking distance to Nintendo (!) at about 10 min. with lots of shops nearby. The price is 325 ˆ each per month, the deposit for the flat is negociable. Maybe Mr Xxxxxx does not want to have a deposit anyway. He is very nice and easygoing. Normally you pay the rent at the beginning of the month, so it would be great if you had it with you when you arrive.

The flat will be free on Friday evening and either Mr Xxxxxx or the couple who takes care of the house as "Concierge" will be there with the keys and let you in.

L'unica cosa che mi lascia perplesso è che questo francese l'ho già conosciuto quando ho fatto il colloquio, è un po' una statua di cera, non parla tedesco, e anche con l'inglese...insomma....facevo fatica a capirlo! Speravo che mi fosse capitato l'altro francese, con quello almeno mi divertivo!
