Come essere aggiornati (come me :)

Io uso 3 strumenti per avere in un unica pagina (quasi) tutte le notizie che mi interessano (politica, pc, finanza, economia...) in tempo reale, ben organizzate per argomento. Pensavo che la cosa vi potesse interessare.

1) Google reader (http://www.google.com/reader) e' un news reader che di per se' non e' nulla di eccezionale, ma permette di inserire da quali siti volete ricevere le informazioni che vi interessano raggruppandoli con labels. Attivate google reader inserite i siti che vi interessano utilizzando eventualmente la funzione di ricerca e create dei gruppi.

2) Google reader oltre ai feeds RSS/Atom dei vari siti web permette anche di inserire i feeds direttamente da google news. E google news permette anche di creare sezioni di notizie con termini chiave a vostra scelta. Quindi google reader (RSS) + google news permette di avere una copertura piuttosto flessibile.

3) Purtroppo l'interfaccia grafica di Google Reader lascia a desiderare. Ma c'e' una soluzione... Per leggere le notizie e' piu' conveniente usare la pagina personalizzata di google (http://www.google.com/ig). In questa pagina potete inserire varie componenti... Ovviamente le componenti che ci interessano sono i "plug-in" di google reader... Per farlo andate in google reader e premete "View your Google Reader reading list on the Google Personalized Homepage: Add". E' possibile ripetere l'operazione piu' volte per inserire varie finestrelle di google reader nell'home page... L'interfaccia di queste finestrelle e' ben fatta. Si puo' selezionare il gruppo di notizie da un dropdown, e si scrollano le notizie con la rotella del mouse. Quando si preme su una notizia appare un piccolo sommario. Ma il vero vantaggio e' che e' possibile avere piu' gruppi di notizie sulla stessa pagina.

Il tutto e' molto veloce. Siccome le notizie vengono aggregate a livello server da google, google reader e' piu' veloce di un qualsiasi altro cliente newsreader (che invece deve scaricare direttamente dai vari siti). Inoltre tali notizie sono accessibili da qualsiasi pc. Ci sono pero' 2 problemi:

A) google sa cosa mi piace leggere.

B) pol al momento non ha RSS

Per farvi risparmiare un po' di tempo e' possibile importare la configurazione opml in google reader (o altro newsreader)... Quella che uso per notizie Linux, IT, qualcosa sull'italia, finanza, etc e' la seguente:
