Ho scovato una notiza, ma bisogna proprio andarla a scovare...
Poco più di un anno fa' c'era stato un nero ammazzato da un bianco e aveva fatto le prime pagine di tutti i giornali per un mese, con tanto di funerali di Stato in diretta TV.
Ecco una notizia occultata per bene (è stata dura trovarla nei meandri del sito della BBC....). Forse questo ragazzo non merita di più, perché non è nero o islamico.

The Kriss Donald trial has heard details of his abduction


A 15-year-old Glasgow schoolboy who was stabbed and set on fire was attacked because he was white, according to one of the men who abducted him.
Three men are on trial at the High Court in Edinburgh for the murder of Kriss Donald, they deny all charges.

Zahid Mohammed was jailed for five years in 2004 after admitting he had assaulted Kriss Donald.

Giving evidence in the murder trial, he said the boy pleaded for his life after he was snatched from a street in 2004.

Mohammed, 22, was released on licence on Wednesday.

He was giving evidence on the third day of the trial of Imran Shahid, 29, his brother Zeeshan "Crazy" Shahid, 28, and Mohammed "Beck" Mushtaq, 27, who have denied abducting and murdering Kriss in a racially motivated attack on 15 March, 2004.

He told the court that he had driven around with a group of Asian youths looking for revenge after Imran Shahid had been hit with a bottle in a night club.

Zahid Mohammed said Kriss was punched as his attackers demanded to know who carried out the bottle attack.

Mohammed said that before they left a flat in the Pollokshields area, Imran Shahid - whose nickname is "Baldy" - had threatened that he would look for someone to cut them up and take out their eyes.

'Batter' threat

Advocate depute Mark Stewart QC asked Mohammed: "Look for who?"

Mohammed told him: "Anybody."

Mr Stewart asked: "Did he indicate it was to be a white person?"

Mohammed replied: "Yes."

The witness said that on that afternoon schoolboy Kriss was grabbed and pushed into the footwell of a Mercedes car, where he was punched and threatened.

The court heard that Kriss said: "I am only 15. What did I do?"

Mohammed said "scared" Kriss was driven in the back of the Mercedes towards Parkhead, then to Hamilton and then to Strathclyde Country Park.

On the way, the abductors in the car made mobile phone calls, in Punjabi, in which they wanted to find a place where they could "batter someone".

Mohammed said he left the group in Strathclyde Country Park because he had to comply with a tagging order imposed earlier for carrying a knife and road traffic offences.

The Mercedes drove off with the other men and Kriss still in it.

Mohammed told the court that if Kriss had been black or Asian he would not have been seized.

The men were not looking for anyone in particular, just "boys from McCulloch Street".

Mohammed said he phoned Mr Mushtaq that night to find out what happened and the accused replied that everything was alright.

He asked Mr Mushtaq and Zeeshan Shahid the same question the next day and Mr Shahid said: "He took it quietly."

Imran Shahid has lodged a special defence to the murder charge, blaming Daanish Zahid and Zahid Mohammed and others.

He also faces charges of assaulting detectives and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The three have denied a further charge of acting in a racially aggravated manner at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

Zahid Mohammed had admitted assaulting Kriss and telling lies about where he was on the day of the teenager's abduction at a previous hearing in Glasgow.

Defending one of the others, Donald Findlay QC cast doubt on Mr Mohammed's evidence pointing out that two years ago he had been charged with the schoolboy's murder until he agreed to name others.

Non vedo lo scandalo, il processo si sta ancora svolgendo, se e' colpevole va punito duramente esattamente come un bianco che ha ucciso un nero, incluse tutte le possibili aggravanti di reato a sfondo razziale ecc...

Se di scandaloso ti riferisci al fatto che la notizia non sia stata data, allora capisco il tuo sfogo. Tuttavia non sono comunque d'accordo, innanzitutto perche' non si dovrebbe comunque dare risonanza mediatica a un processo non ancora terminato (in generale, non in questo caso).

E inoltre quando si denuncia in tv di un bianco che ha ucciso un nero, la reazione della gente al massimo e' una fiaccolata di solidarieta'. L'idea che si diffonde e' che comunque era uno sbandato, un violento o un esaltato.

Ma quando si denuncia di un nero che ha ucciso un bianco, c'e' sempre un mucchio di gente che comincia a dire "gli stranieri sono tutti cosi'", e a prendersela con chi con quel crimine non c'entra affatto.
