Aegean Airlines, Greece's second-biggest airline, ordered eight aircraft from Airbus SAS valued at $420 million as the carrier replaces its Boeing Co. planes.
Aegean has an option to buy another 12 Airbus aircraft, the company said today in an e-mailed statement. ``The planes will gradually replace the Boeing 737 the company is using,'' the statement said.
The agreement with Airbus will be completed at the end of October.
