Vede, lei è un utente da fondoscala non a caso, e' un utente da fondoscala perche parla a vanvera, perchè non conosce la storia, perchè e' un ignorante.

Castro è un dittaore e questo nessuno lo mette in dubbio, ma una persona con un minimo di cultura (quindi non lei) farebbe un analisi e arriverebbe a capire perche Castro è li e eprche Cuba e' una dittatura.

dai tuoi discorsi sembra che Castro non avesse altre opportunità che fare una dittatura quando è arrivato al potere!! mi fai ridere...ora è colpa degli USA. Cuban state security officers arrested four journalists and placed another six under house arrest on 16-17 December, 1999 in an apparent attempt to prevent coverage of an anti-government demonstration in Havana. Journalists Juan González Febles, Adela Soto Alvarez, María del Carmen Carro and Santiago Martínez Trujillo were taken into custody the day before the peaceful march was scheduled to take place on 17 December. On the morning before the planned demonstration, another six journalists – Meri Miranda, Osvaldo de Céspedes, María de los Angeles Gómez, Amarylis Cortina, Ricardo González and Alida Viso – were put under house arrest. Journalist Angel Pablo Polanco, director of the Noticuba agency, was arrested on 23 February while preparing to cover the 25 February trial of Oscar Elias Biscet. Polanco had previously published a number of articles on the judicial proceedings against Biscet. On 22 February Omar Rodriguez Saludes of the New Press Agency was detained for four hours. On 27 February Doctor Oscar Elías Biscet González was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment after being arrested for hanging the national flag sideways at a press conference. The physician, who is president of the Lawton Human Rights Foundation, said that patriots have always used the tactic as a sign of civil disobedience. Biscet is accused of insulting the nation’s symbols, public disorder and inciting criminal activity. (AI, RSF) Index #3, 2000
There is increasing concern for the health of writer and political activist Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello, who is suffering from a condition that could be cancerous. The writer is halfway through a three-year sentence and is already in poor health. She was arrested along with three others on charges of ‘sedition and other acts against state security’ for an article entitled La Patria es de Todos, co-authored by Felix Antonio Bonne Cascasses, Rene Gomez Manzano and Vladimir Roca Antunez. The 18 May issue of Carta de Cuba magazine reported that the State Security police raided the opening party of the independent Aurora Library in Havana in early April. The director of Aurora, Jorge Santacana, was arrested and detained overnight. (Friends of Cuban Libraries) Index #4, 2000
On 12 May Felix A. Bonne Carcases was released from custody on ‘conditional liberty,’ to be followed on 15 May by Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello and Rene Gomez Manzano on 23 May. The three, along with economist Vladimiro Roca Antunez, were arrested in 1997 for writing a pro-democracy document entitled The Homeland Belongs to All (Index 8/1992, 4/1995, 2/1996, 4/1997). The four had been held for 15 months without charge or trial before eventually being charged for sedition on 15 October 1998. Roque was sentenced to three and a half years, Bonne and Gomez to four and Roca to five. Roca, believed to have been the group’s leader, is still being detained in solitary confinement. RSF correspondent Ricardo González Alfonso was detained on 15 July by officials from the State Security Department and subjected to a six-hour interrogation, before being released. No explanation was offered. (RSF) Index #5, 2000
Two independent journalists from the Santiago Press agency were viciously assaulted by police while covering a rally marking the anniversary of the sinking of a civilian ship. Marilyn Lahera and José Antonio were beaten by officers at the mid-July march, where protesters demanded an investigation into the torpedoing of the 13 de Marzo by armed forces six years ago. On 9 August journalist Luis Alberto Rivera Lea, ower of independent news agency Libre Oriental, was involuntarily searched and forced to hand over his identity papers to two police officers as he waited for a bus in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba. On the same day, two state security agents posing as journalists illegally entered the old Havana premises of independent agency Cuba Press and confiscated office supplies, books and magazines. RSF correspondent Martine Jacot was detained and interrogated on 17 August at Havana airport after spending a week interviewing members of local independent news agencies and relatives of imprisoned journalists. The French journalist was held for an hour and a half, and had her video camera, two videotapes and some documents confiscated. (RSF) Index #6, 2000
On 29 August, at approximately 7am, Swedish journalists Birger Thureson of the Nya Dagen, Peter Gotell of the daily Sundsvals Tidning and Elena Soderquist of the daily Arvika Nyheter, were detained by ministry of interior officials at the Havana house where they were staying. Prior to their detention, all three had interviewed journalists from independent press organizations. (RSF)
On 18 September police stopped independent journalist Juan Carlos Garcel in his home town of Sagua de Tanamo, took his fingerprints and warned he would be sent to prison if he continued to work as a reporter. (CubaNet) Index #6, 2000

E non ti vergogni un po' ad appoggiare una nazione così?

Poi una nazione che ha TUTTO il mondo contro (o quasi) deve per forza salvare quanto conquistato...come ha detto Castro "L'imperialismo non schiaccierà mai Cuba".

Se gli USA non usassero una politica criminale che non lascia nemmeno la libertà di scelta del governo e smettesse con questo vergognoso embargo e soprattutto smettesse di emanare leggi a favore dei dissidenti e contro i cubani (i gruppi anti-castristi, terroristi internazionali compresi, sono finanziati dalla NSA....per milioni di dollari!).

Basta essere informati e vedere cosa successe nel governo Carter.(e in quello successivo Bush)

Ma certo che è una dittatura (non ha i crismi per essere una democrazia...quindi...), ma son del parere che se non fosse osteggiata a tal punto dagli USA (e certa Europa non la demonizzasse) sarebbe molto migliore...ora è praticamente in mano ai ricchi "turisti"...

Ovvio che c'era Castro...

Carter cambiò modo di approccio con Cuba...smise (o almeno limitò) l'attacco pressante fino ad allora attuato...e infatti Castro iniziò a permettere manifestazioni e contestazioni.

Poi arrivò Bush...fece 2 belle leggi contro Cuba e a favore dei dissidenti e la situazione tornò così.
