FOR THOSE COMING TO ITALY FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
Anyone entering Italy from Albania or the United Kingdom, must present to the Company (or who is in charge of verification) when boarding, in addition to the dPLF, both the following certificates:
vaccination with a vaccine validated by the EMA and completed at least 14 days before arriving;
a certificate of a molecular or antigenic swab test taken within 72 hours (48 hours if coming from the UK) prior to entry into the national territory with a negative result
No self-isolation period will be required upon arrival in Italy for travelers in possession of both certificates. In the absence of the above requirements, boarding will be permitted, but it will be mandatory
to observe a 5-day period of self-isolation at the address indicated in the Passenger Locator Form followed by a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab, at the end of this period.
Furthermore, the Order of the Ministry of Health of August 28 establishes that anyone entering Italy from the United States and Japan must present to the Company (or who is in charge of verification) when boarding, in addition to the dPLF, both the following certificates:
vaccination with a vaccine validated by the EMA and completed at least 14 days before arriving;
a certificate of a molecular or antigenic swab test taken within 72 hours prior to entry into the national territory with a negative result.
The only documentation that you have been vaccinated is not sufficient to travel: indeed, in the absence of a negative PCR molecular or antigen test result, you will be denied boarding.
However, in case of absence of the vaccination certificate but presenting a negative test result, boarding will be permitted, but it will be mandatory to observe a 5-day period of self-isolation at the address indicated in the Passenger Locator Form followed by a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab, at the end of this period.
These certificates are accepted in digital and paper format in Italian, English, French and Spanish. The Company has the obligation to verify the dates of the vaccine administration, which is not verifiable by QR Code but by the certificate. Therefore, we recommend printing it in case of absence of internet connection.
