Mission

The RPG-29 portable AT rocket launcher with the PG-29V rocket is designed to destroy armoured vehicles, weapon systems and personnel in various shelters.

Features

RPG-27 features superb characteristics, it is easy-to-handle and reliable in operation.

The rocket launcher fires the PG-29V rocket with a tandem shaped-charge warhead. The launcher is breech-loaded. The booster burns only while inside the launcher, then the rocket flies along a ballistic trajectory, providing a close pattern of fire. It is stabilised by eight fins. There is a tracer provided to adjust fire. The tandem warhead allows killing hard targets including stateof- the-art tanks fitted with ERA.

General description

To make operation convenient, the barrel is divided into two relatively equal parts. In carrying position, the two parts are transported by one man in a special kit on his back. The rocket is stored in the breech end of the launcher. The gunpowder booster is ignited by an electric pulse from the trigger mechanism generator of the launcher. The trigger mechanism has a safety catch. The breech end of barrel mounts a folding bipod.

The rocket launcher houses a standard attachment point for various optical sights.
A complete set of the rocket launcher includes a day optical sight. It also has a mechanical sight. For firing at night, the launcher can be fitted with a night sight.

The launcher’s combat crew comprises an operator and his assistant.

RPG-29 is in service with the Russian Armed Forces.

The Ying-Ji-802 land attack and anti-ship cruise missile [Western designation SACCADE], is an improved version of the C-801 which employs a small turbojet engine in place of the original solid rocket engine. The YJ-2 (C-802 is externally similar to the YJ-1 but it is powered by a turbojet with paraffin-based fuel. This caused the fuselage to be extended to accommodate the fuel.

The weight of the subsonic (0.9 Mach) Yingji-802 is reduced from 815 kilograms to 715 kilograms, but its range is increased from 42 kilometers to 120 kilometers. The 165 kg. (363 lb.) warhead is just as powerful as the earlier version. Since the missile has a small radar reflectivity and is only about five to seven meters above the sea surface when it attacks the target, and since its guidance equipment has strong anti-jamming capability, target ships have a very low success rate in intercepting the missile. The hit probability of the Yingji-802 is estimated to be as high as 98 percent. The Yingji-802 can be launched from airplanes, ships, submarines and land-based vehicles, and is considered along with the US "Harpoon" as among the best anti-ship missiles of the present-day world.

SA-18 employs an IR guidance system using proportional convergence logic. The probability of kill against an unprotected fighter is estimated at 30-48%, and the use of IRCM jammers only degrades this to 24-30%. The SA-18 also comes in a naval version the SA-N-10 GROUSE (Igla-M).

Fajr-3

The Fajr-3 Artillery Rocket is an Iranian multiple-launch artillery rocket, a third-generation Katyusha rocket. Fajr means 'dawn' in Persian (borrowed from Arabic).

The 5.2-metre long, 240 millimeter-calibre Fajr-3 artillery rocket has an estimated range of 45 kilometres or 25-30 miles, weighs 407 kilograms, and carries a 45-kilogram warhead. Production probably started in 1991, or as early as March 1990. Fajr-3 has the same caliber, range and warhead weight as three known North Korean systems.[1][2] The 333-millimeter Fajr-5 rocket has a range of about 75–80 kilometres.

Fajr-5

he Fajr-5 (Arabic, Persian: فجر-5, meaning "dawn-5") is an artillery rocket developed by Iran in early 2006. The system is part of the Fajr family of rockets.

In May 2006, Iran's Aerospace Industries Organization (AIO) has developed an upgraded version of the well-established Fadjr-5 333 mm (4-round) unguided surface-to-surface artillery rocket system (ARS).[1]

The latest production of the Fadjr-5 is installed on a new Mercedes-Benz 6 x 6 forward control chassis and the platform is now integrated into a complete weapon system rather than an individual launcher. To provide a more stable firing platform four hydraulically operated stabilisers are lowered to the ground before firing.

The new chassis has improved cross-country mobility and the forward control fully enclosed cab provides space for the driver and two passengers. Another fully enclosed cabin to the immediate rear of the cab houses the remainder of the crew. The new Mercedes-Benz chassis is similar to that manufactured in China, which is used as the basis for the Norinco (China North Industries Corporation) 122 mm (40-round) Type 90 ARS.

While the primary role of this artillery rocket system is the engagement of land targets, AIO says that a radar can be added to give the system the capability to track and engage naval targets. The Fajr-5 missile, which is launched from a mobile platform, reportedly has a range of 75 kilometers, or 50 miles.

Zelzal-2 / Mushak-200

The number of names and naming systems attributed to Iranian missile programs is evidently far larger than the number of actual missile programs. One case in point may be the 200 km range Mushak-200 which is reported to be in development, that may be the Zelzal-2. The Zelzal-2 missile system was made available for sale by Iran in 1996. It has a length of 8.46 m and a diameter of 0.61 m, with a launch weight of 3,545 kg. It carries its 600 kg warhead to a maximum range of 200 km (124 miles).

The Zelzal-2 is apparently a locally produced version of the Luna-M [NATO name FROG-7] missile with a launcher based on the MB LA-911 truck chassis. The 8.3 meter-long rocket has a range that is variously estimated at between 100km to 400km, though 200km is the most widely quoted estimate and 100km is the most likely estimate based on the performance of the Soviet missile. The Zelzal-2 is armed with a 600kg high-explosive warhead, and some suggest that it may be able to carry chemical and biological payloads.

It is possible that Zelzal-2 missiles were used against Iraqi terrorist training camps in 2001, and the Fateh A-110 is believed to be a guided variant.

In October 2002 it was reported that Iranian Zelzal-2 short-range ballistic missiles had been delivered to Iranian Revolutionary Guard units in the Beka'a Valley in Lebanon. Israelis sources frequently claim that long-range rockets have been transferred to Lebanon, including 240mm versions of the standard 122mm 'Katyusha' rocket, and Iranian Fajr-3 and Fajr-5 rockets. Hizbullah typically refuses to confirm or deny such reports. However, in late October 2002 Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek, a senior Hizbullah official, hinted at the group's reach, saying that "all sensitive areas of the Zionist entity are within the range of our fire... wherever they exist".

ora, considerando che hezbollah non ha ancora usato gli zelzal e i sa-18 (ma neppure israele ovviamente si è espressa al massimo della sua potenza) con queste armi quante probabilità secondo voi hanno gli hz di respingere una invasione terrestre su larga scala(almeno fino al fiume litani se non oltre...) da parte di israele, invasione a cui proprio oggi il governo israeliano ha dato il via libera?

Qualcuno, magari sepolto, prende polvere e non funziona, qualcuno manca il bersaglio.. qualcuno magari centra Tel Aviv: e poi? Fine dei missili.

Un pochino più pericolosi sembrano (sembrano) essere i missili terra-aria antiaereo. Magari con un centinaio di missili abbattono una decina di caccia sionisti. Ma sono perdite che Israele può accettare.

certo i migliori sono i suoi, ma comunque si tratta solo di armi a spalla per la fanteria, simile allo stingher migliorato in versione sovietica.
