Quando le nazionali o squadre di club con la stella di Davide o a strisce perdono, per me e' una grande gioia. Non so se qualcuno ricorda un mio thread qualche mese fa quando il Cska di Mosca batte' il Maccabi di Telaviv?

Anche io puerilmente gioisco ogni qualvolta un evento sportivo si risolve a favore degli umani, contro i Visitors o gli
ameri-cani, ma l'entusiasmo è effettivamente puerile ... altrimenti dovremmo deprimerci ogni qual volta una squadra di giudei (improbabile) o di negri (assai più facile) ne sconfigge una di autentici europei ; il che mi pare insensato ....

Se mai, comincio ad esser fortemente afflitto nel constatare che squadre di europei non ce ne sono più, che anche le nazionali (in Grecia ed Italia ancora pochi, grazie alla modestia del passato coloniale, ma per Francia o Inghilterra la storia è ben diversa) sono completamente multietniche, sì da render beffardo loo stesso epiteto di "rappresentative nazionali" ....

E' stato fantastico, un'emozione incredibile. Ai mondiali di pallacanestro in Giappone i Greci (con 11/12) di giocatori bianchi + un mulatto oriundo sono riusciti a battere l'ormai ex dream team statunitense, composto da 10 giocatori di colore e da 2 bianchi. Gli Ameri cani sono superiori fisicamente, ma non sono squadra, manca infatti sia il cuore che il cervello, mentre gli Ellenici (Ortodossi), hanno giocato con una grinta incredibile e tatticamente hanno impostato una gara vicina alla perfezione. Dopo l'Olimpiadi di Sidney 2000 vinta di un soffio dagli States sulla Lituania in semifinale e successivamente abbastanza agevolmente contro la Francia, per la nazionale a stelle e strisce con il nuovo milennio e' cominciata la "notte fonda" (che sia un auspicio anche a livello politico). Ha iniziato la Jugoslavia nel 2002 ad Indianapolis a battere gli States (vendicandosi sportivamente delle malefatte subite a livello militare), successivamente e' stata l'Argentina a battere i succitati e adesso la Grecia. Gli Ameri cani hanno inoltre perso anche altre partite a livello di qualificazione e di consolazione, ma erano ininfluenti ed anche le loro squadre del Nba non sono + imbattibili. Adesso vado a vedere Spagna - Argentina e spero che la perdente infligga una nuova umiliazione, a quello che ancor'oggi, viene ancora ritenuto (erroneamente) il dream team, considerando che gli Statunitensi hanno raschiato il barile e mandato la miglior nazionale possibile.

Bah, sono contento che abbia vinto la Grecia, ma non perchè abbia battuto gli USA; più che altro perchè così la Grecia può vivere i suoi momenti di gloria. E' una Nazione povera, ma con una forte identità nazionale e religiosa: spero che, a questo punto, si possa conquistare il titolo.
E spero che gli USA si conquistino almeno il terzo posto.

Solo a mettere insieme i "più scarsi" verrebbe da tremare a qualsiasi squadra, la Grecia avrebbe perso di almeno 20 punti.....Torneranno mai i tempi degli Halley Hoop? ,quelli veri, come li faceva Shawn Kemp mica le cagate che hanno fatto vedere questi scarsoni, o le schiacciate "on your face" di Barkley (1 metro e 90 scarsi!) e Jordan (vabbe quello era un'altro pianeta)??????
