Adesso sembra più probabile una coalizione lib-lab con a capo Miliband.

Ah può essere, ma mi sembra difficile giustificare una coalizione dei perdenti, di per se minoritaria senza l'aiuto di tutti i mini-partitini autonomisti, e con a capo un PM che non ha affrontato alcuna campagna elettorale, che esce fuori dal cilindro insomma.
Ma facciano pure i politici inglesi; poi però non ci dicano che loro sono superiori all'Italia. Almeno noi, da un pò di tempo, possiamo sapere in anticipo quale sarà il PM, senza accordi post-voto in Parlamento...fra partiti chiaramente perdenti ed in durissima flessione poi...

bah non so a parte il fatto che cameron ha offerto 3 ministeri trasporti, economia e interni, ma ai lib interessa la riforma elettorale e i conservatori non gliela possono dare, perchè il proporzionale li svantaggia ancor di più, perchè i partiti altri a parte BNP e UKIP non sono di centrodestra.

che i politici inglesi siano superiori agli italiani mi sembra palese basta vedere il livello di servizi pubblici

"The only way they could get a majority in the commons would be by lining up with all the Welsh, Irish and Scottish nationalist parties.

"The effect of that would be that the cuts which are necessary would not happen inScotland, Ireland or Wales. The English taxpayer ... would have to bear the cuts ...

"This is mind blowing. I don't know how anyone would have such a barefaced nerve as to put such a proposition in the circumstances ...

"The only viable solution is for David Cameron to become the prime minister."

Brown's resignation is "party politics at its most sordid" and in their negotiations with the Tories, "it's up to the [Lib Dems] to make it clear what the sticking point is".

Come era chiaro, Clegg ha appena annunciato il prossimo governo lib-lab:

"Over the past four days we have been working flat out to deliver an agreement that can provide stable government that can last.

"The talks with the Conservatives have been very constructive and I am grateful to David Cameron and his team for the effort they have put in. But so far we have been unable to agree a comprehensive partnership agreement for a full Parliament.

"We need a government that lasts which is why we believe, in the light of the state of talks with the Conservative Party, the only responsible thing to do is to open discussions with the Labour Party to secure a stable partnership agreement.

"We will of course continue our discussions with the Conservative Party to see if we can find a way to a full agreement.

"Gordon Brown has taken a difficult personal decision in the national interest.

"And I think without prejudice to the talks that will now happen between Labour and the Liberal Democrats, Gordon Brown's decision is an important element which could help ensure a smooth transition to the stable government that everyone deserves."

So just when the negotiations between the Conservatives and the Lib Dems were reportedly yielding good progress, it turns out that the Lib Dems are also opening up talks with Labour, now that Gordon Brown is resigning.

Is this a tactical move to seek further concessions from the ongoing negotiations with the Conservatives? We'll have to wait and see, but I suspect that the public will not be impressed.

The last outcome that the country indicated it wanted at the general election was a coalition between Labour and the Liberal Democrats. The voters' verdict was clear in that they sent fewer Lib Dem MPs back to Westminster and far, far fewer Labour MPs - showing their desire for Labour to be ejected from office.

Would it not be outrageous for those two parties to cobble together an arrangement - under yet another unelected Prime Minister?
