An Islamic extremist who arrived in the UK seeking asylum has been jailed for supporting terror group Islamic State.

Turkish national Hakan Barac, 28, of Commercial Road, Newport, posted videos on social media sites glorifying terrorists Osama bin Laden and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

He admitted five counts relating to the online distribution of terrorist publications, and one of expressing support for a proscribed organisation.

Barac was sentenced to three years and nine months at Bristol Crown Court and will referred to authorities to consider deportation.

Barac, who reached the country two years ago, was arrested by counter-terrorism police last year.

He posted videos on social media sites, including Instagram and Telegram, that showed jihadists preparing for martyrdom as well as featuring Saudi-born Canadian recruiter Mohammed Khalifa, the court heard.

Ben Lloyd, prosecuting, said other material was "extreme" and depicted graphic violence.

"It was apparent that a substantial number of followers to his accounts were interested in extreme Islamic subject matters," he said.

Tim Forte KC, defending, said Barac had pleaded guilty on the basis there was "no intention to assist or encourage" and the posts had only been seen by a small number of people.

'Abhorrent rhetoric'
But in handing down a 45-month sentence, Judge Martin Picton said Barac had shared material glorifying "violent terrorism".

"The dissemination of material of this kind has the clear potential to be supportive of such activity," he said.

"It is apparent from your own use of social media that you have a mindset that is aligned with that ideology.

"The pattern of terrorist activity in modern times demonstrates the potential for individuals to be encouraged by material they see posted on social media so as to carry out acts of violence."

He added: "You are here seeking asylum but at the same time choose to disseminate material that strikes at the very heart of our democratic society.

"For you to behave in that way when seeking refuge in this country is very difficult to understand and must seem utterly unacceptable to all right thinking people."

Det Ch Insp Leanne Williams, from Counter Terrorism Policing Wales, said: "Without any doubt, Hakan Barac is a dangerous individual.

"Barac clearly expressed his support for the Islamic State, and it was our absolute priority to ensure the public were protected from him and the abhorrent rhetoric he espoused."

Selon Lyon Mag, Mohamed Hichem Medjdoub, jugé à Paris pour l’attentat à la bombe de la rue Victor-Hugo à Lyon (2e) en mai 2019, a pris la parole ce lundi 7 avril à la dernière minute, après être resté silencieux durant tout son procès. L’homme de 29 ans a assumé son geste avec fierté : “Tous les objectifs ont été atteints et je ne regrette rien”, a-t-il déclaré avec arrogance.

Accusé de tentatives d’assassinat en lien avec une entreprise terroriste, Medjdoub a qualifié son acte de “victoire totale”, affirmant : “Je ne suis pas un lâche”. Le 24 mai 2019, il avait déposé une bombe artisanale remplie de projectiles devant une boulangerie du centre-ville de Lyon, blessant une quinzaine de personnes, dont une fillette de 10 ans.

Devant les enquêteurs, il a admis vouloir semer la peur pour favoriser une victoire de l’extrême droite, espérant ainsi déclencher une guerre civile. L’avocat général Nicolas Braconnay a rappelé que l’absence de morts “n’est due qu’au hasard”, et a requis la perpétuité avec 22 ans de sûreté.

À la barre, Medjdoub a provoqué : “Vous ne m’impressionnez pas, vous ne faites peur à personne”, ajoutant : “En tant que musulman, arabe et surtout Algérien, je n’ai aucune leçon de morale à recevoir des Français.”

Not only did he anally rape a 13-year-old French boy — how long will it take that boy to recover from such an attack? — but before then, he had raped a homeless woman in the same village of Croisilles. That, too, I suppose, he would justify, in his weird moral calculus, as being an understandable act of revenge because his application for asylum had been turned down by the French government. What better way to get back at the entire country of France — how dare the French deny him his inalienable right as a Muslim to live in France, and to receive all the benefits the French state owes him, than to rape the most vulnerable of victims — a young boy, a homeless woman. Let’s not forget that as a Muslim, he is well aware that he belongs to the “best of peoples,” while his non-Muslim victims are “the most vile of create beings.”

The village became well known in the media for establishing a reception center for migrants.

Zalakahan S., the Afghan in the case, made the confession in Paris during a separate murder trial he is facing for an incident from 2022 in which he reportedly tried to stab a tourist in the neck.

His rap sheet gets longer. Now we know not only about his sodomizing a 13-year-old, and raping a homeless woman, but we find out he has been on trial for having attempted to murder a tourist in the neck three years ago (in the course of a robbery, or just for fun?). He apparently hasn’t invoked, as part of his defense, that his religious faith made him stab the tourist, because when he “struck at the neck” of an Infidel, he was only doing as Qur’an 47:4 instructs (”strike at their necks”) Muslims to do when they come across non-Muslims.

Zalakahan S. said he watched the boy play football, stole his cellphone, and then brutally sodomized the victim.

At the trial, Zalakahan S. admitted to raping the boy through an interpreter, as he does not speak French. He also said he “hates Europe.”…

Zalakahan S. “hates Europe.” On the other hand, he wants desperately to remain in France, and was so furious that his asylum request was turned down that he raped that 13-year-old boy, as he admitted, to take his revenge on France. Apparently his prior rape of a homeless woman was not revenge enough.

Notably, the mother of the raped boy is a volunteer who teaches migrants in the town of Croisilles.

How many times have those who have taken it upon themselves to help Muslim migrants adjust to life in Europe become the victims of those they tried to help? They have been robbed, raped, and sometimes murdered. In this case, the mother who taught immigrants in Croisilles, including Zalakahan S., was not harmed directly by him, but it was torment beyond measure for her 13-year-old son to be anally raped.

It’s not Zalakahan S.,’s only rape either. He also raped a homeless woman in the same town, which he also confessed to during the trial.

A judicial official in the town tried to downplay the rape at first, saying most rapes are “interfamilial.” However, three children in the village of 2,000 people have been sexually assaulted by refugees.

Stuttgart – In ihrer syrischen Heimat war Sahari A. (40) eine Grundschullehrerin. Ausgerechnet diese Frau soll auf einem Spielplatz auf ein Mädchen eingestochen und mehrere Jugendliche verletzt haben.

Vor dem Landgericht Stuttgart begann am Montag der Prozess gegen Sahari A. (40) wegen versuchten Totschlags. Zu Beginn der Verhandlung blieb die Muslimin bis auf die Augen voll verschleiert. Richterin Monika Lamberti (62) akzeptierte die Vermummung nicht. Da jammerte die Syrerin, dass sie in einem „islamischen Staat“ diese Vollverschleierung tragen dürfe.

Die Frau war vor circa neun Jahren mit vier kleinen Töchtern und ihrem damaligen Ehemann nach Deutschland geflüchtet, beantragte Asyl. Später soll sie ihre 14-jährige Tochter geschlagen haben. Die Staatsanwältin: „Die Tochter kam in die Obhut des Jugendamts.“

Laut Anklage habe die Mutter eine Klassenkameradin dafür verantwortlich gemacht. Die heißt Lela (15) und sagt: „Ich habe mich dafür eingesetzt, dass unsere Lehrer über ein blaues Auge informiert werden.“

Was die Schülerin zunächst nicht bemerkte: Sahari A. soll ein Messer in der Hand gehalten haben. Die Staatsanwältin: „Sie stach die Klinge in Richtung Hals.“ Weil ein Junge dazwischenging, kam Lela mit einer tiefen Schnittwunde an der Wange davon. Noch heute ist die Narbe zu sehen.

Laut Polizei verletzte Sahari A. mit Schlägen drei weitere Mädchen (13 bis 16). Die Ex-Lehrerin wurde festgenommen und kam später in U-Haft.

California Imam Amir Abdel Malik Ali delivered a lecture at the university of California Berkeley Muslim Students Association (MSA) titled "Martyrs Illuminating the Path," in which he extolled martyrdom, saying that in an effort to divert Muslims from Jihad, "our martyrs were marginalized," instead of being honored and celebrated. He praised the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyah who was assassinated in Tehran and said: "We have to honor our martyrs, and Allah willing, one day we will become martyrs."

In the lecture, which was posted on Berkeley MSA's YouTube channel on September 12, 2024, Ali expressed his desire for a new caliphate and said that he hoped that it would be based in Gaza. "We are coming back to power," he promised his viewers.

Imam Ali leads the Oakland branch of As-Sabiqun, a group founded by DC Imam Abdul Alim Musa, who has claimed that Zionists orchestrated 9/11, praised Iran and Hizbullah, claimed he U.S. government is evil, and that Americans are ‘taken over’ by Zionists (for more about DC Imam Abdul Alim Musa, also see MEMRI TV clips 9421 and 5869.

The organization As-Sabiqun has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League. The group espouses antisemitic views, expresses support for Hamas and Hizbullah, and calls for establishing a global Islamic caliphate.

In October 2024, Imam Ali claimed that Muslims are being framed for the cancellation of a Taylor Swift concert in Europe due to an ISIS threat and the Southport stabbings in the UK. He called on Muslims in the U.S. to train themselves by studying Sayyid Qutb’s foundational Islamist book “Milestones”, which is used by the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda. In addition, Ali has called UC Irvine's Dean Gillman as a "Zionist Jew," explaining that Zionists are "bad Jews," during a Friday sermon at the UC Irvine anti-Israel encampment in May 2024. He asserted in December 2023 that Jews are the new Nazis and warned against false flag attacks that would be attributed to Muslims during a lecture in Santa Clara, California.
