A well-placed source within the Conservative campaign machine has told PoliticsHome that early indications are looking good and that he expects an overall Tory majority. he indications they are receiving are that their voters are turning out, that the advantage in the marginal seats is holding up, and that a number of the lower down Labour target seats will fall their way, making an overall majority likely.

Londra, 6 mag. (Ap) - Se l'è cavata con qualche ferita e un grande spavento Nigel Farage, europarlamentare, sopravvissuto oggi assieme al pilota a un incidente aereo nel Northamptonshire.

Il piccolo velivolo da turismo, che sorvolava la zona con una striscione elettorale, ha avuto un problema in fase di decollo all'aeroporto Hedges Airfield a Steane, vicino Brackley. L'ex leader del partito UK Independence (Ukip), una formazione ultraconservatrice ed euroscettica, è candidato alle elezioni legislative, che si svolgono oggi in Gran Bretagna. "Non è in pericolo di vita", ha detto il suo portavoce alla Bbc. Il pilota, che era rimasto intrappolato fra i rottami del velivolo è stato trasportato in elicottero nell'ospedale di Coventry.

Simone Bressan: Fonti interne ai conservatori: Contrary to the exit poll which has the Tories 19 short we are expecting a good night for the Conservatives; probably a small working majority. David Cameron will become Prime Minister. The party will make deep inroads into Labour territory but will not do well against the Liberal Democrats. The LibDems may come third, winning 100 seats in total.

The aim of the exit poll is to predict the seat totals, not the share of the vote, and the team will try to work out if there are different shifts in support in different types of seat. The call is based on a probability of each seat going one way or the other, all summed up to make a seat total. (UK Polling Report)
